Two of my girlfriends are expecting baby girls this summer, so I made them each a little newborn flower headband this weekend using some nice stretchy pink jersey material! Jersey is a little tricky to handle but I finally got to put my new sewing machine to good crafty use and it did great.

I modeled it after this helpful tutorial but with a large organza flower instead, with the raw edges folded and sewn in deeper to prevent frays. Can’t wait to see them wear it later this year!
